Adventure Camp
Ages 6 to 12

This is our biggest camp!

Adventure Camp days balance choice, activity, and rest, with campers selecting a different morning elective each day from a core menu plus extra options based on staff skills, keeping things fresh while letting kids explore new interests. Afternoons always include lake time, a rest period, and rotating cabin activities like tie‑dye, canoeing, pontoon rides, a horse experience, team building, visits to the nature center, and archery, all designed to help campers relax, bond, and build lasting friendships.
Horse Camp
Ages 6 to 12

Horse Camp is a specialized option within Adventure Camp base for kids who love horses, welcoming everyone from beginners to experienced riders. Mornings are all about equestrian time at the barn, in the arena, or out on trail rides, with campers learning grooming, tacking, riding skills, and general horse care through a mix of trail mornings, arena skill sessions, and a flexible lesson day. After spending the morning with horses, campers rejoin the main Adventure Camp schedule for afternoons at the waterfront and cabin activities and then enjoy evenings with their age group, so they still get the full camp community experience while focusing on horses.

Lazy T Ranch Camp
Ages 13 to 16

A pinnacle ranch experience. Teens are assigned their own horse for the week to care for, to learn with and to ride. Mornings start early with feeding and cooking breakfast and transition into morning rides in the arenas or trails. During the afternoon heat, teens usually take a break, cool off in the lake and connect with other teens. Evenings then are back in the saddle!
Ranger Teen Camp
Ages 13 to 17

Ranger Teen Camp is the core teen program at Camp Tippecanoe, created to bring teens together in a setting that feels more grown‑up and independent than the younger camper programs. Rangers have a more flexible schedule and a wider range of opportunities, with experiences that are intentionally more challenging and progressive, like additional high ropes elements, deeper canoe skills, going farther into the woods, and taking on more responsibility. Most Rangers live at the C‑Bar‑T Ranch, which gives them a close‑knit community that still feels fully part of Camp Tippecanoe while also recognizing that they are maturing beyond the Adventure‑age campers.

Leadership Programs
Ages 15 to 17

Ready to start shifting from camper to staff‑in‑training? Participants still enjoy fun with their peers, but the focus is on learning to positively impact younger campers by training alongside experienced counselors and gaining hands‑on cabin experience. Families can expect a session that blends meaningful work, leadership development, and plenty of classic camp fun as teens take on more responsibility and grow into confident role models.
