Horse Camp

Ages 6-12, one-week, two-week, and mini week sessions

Beginner to experienced riders welcome!  Horse Camp is a popular specialization to our Adventure Camp base.  Mornings are spent engaged in equestrian activities: at the barn, in the arena, or on a trail ride. Grooms, tacking, riding, and horse lessons make this a perfect experience for young riders.

After each morning spent with horses, campers seamlessly join in with the whole of Adventure Camp for waterfront and cabin activities. Basically - morning horses, afternoon spent connecting with their cabin group and evenings spent with their whole age group.

Morning lessons vary a little with skills, weather, and ability but... Generally, 2 mornings spent on trail rides, 2 mornings spent on arena-based skill development and 1 flexible morning.  Horse care, grooming, tacking and learns spread throughout.
