Work at Camp Tippecanoe

Working at summer camp is an experience and a job like no other.  The friends you make, skills you develop and impact you create tend to be life-long unforgettable.

Counselors

Provide care and supervision for a cabin of 10 children, lead lessons and activities in areas like art, music, nature, water, or sports, and actively contribute to the camp community. Must complete required trainings, pass background checks, and maintain high energy while working with campers ages 7–17.

Barn Staff

Manage and care for camp horses, lead riding lessons and trail rides, ensure safety and barn upkeep, and create engaging, skill-building experiences for campers while collaborating effectively with staff.

Adventure Coordinator

Oversee and lead camp adventure activities such as the challenge course, campouts, canoe trips, and rappelling. Serve on the leadership team and run weekly programs.

Food Service 

Ensure safe and organized food handling, preparation, and storage while maintaining cleanliness, portion control, and presentation standards. Collaborate effectively with staff to support best kitchen practices.

Waterfront Director

Responsible for ensuring the safe and enjoyable operation of the camp’s waterfront, leading and training lifeguards, and working collaboratively with staff to maintain high standards and team effectiveness.

Teen Coordinator 

Supervising and leading camp activities such as the challenge course, campouts, canoe trips, and rappelling. Includes leadership duties and weekly program event leadership.
